Toddler Daycare

Alpha Montessori is a renowned Toddler Daycare in Plano & Frisco, offering the best Toddler Daycare Program for children aged 18 months to 3 years at both our locations in Plano and Frisco. Children are not required to be potty-trained to enter our Toddler Program. We are fully certified and licensed by Texas Health and Human Services.

Not only that, it allows students to move freely between lessons, learn through discovery, and work at their own pace.

Our teachers are certified and have thorough training in child development and guided instruction methods. They skillfully guide children through language, social interaction, self-help skills, fine and gross motor skills, and creativity. Our teachers ensure diapers are changed with the child standing, and a small portable toilet is offered each time.

Parents are continually updated about their child’s progress with weekly and daily reports detailing activities, naps, food, and potty training.

Toddler Learning in Alpha Montessori

We provide a thoughtfully prepared environment for each child to experience their first exploration into the world. Each choice and every movement builds on the one before. Language development is an important area of growth for toddlers. We practice receptive and two-way communication as guides incorporate language exercises into all areas of learning. A child’s desire to communicate and be heard is a strong motivator to practice and master these skills.

Much of the work in the toddler classroom enhances this emerging skill through daily living, language cards with realistic objects, songs, and stories. Every day is exciting and new for a toddler at Alpha Montessori School.

• Tiny furniture, low hooks for jackets, small toilets, and low sinks foster independence and self-sufficiency.
• Your child will paint, cook, water the garden, sweep with a miniature broom, wash dishes, and work with materials that develop fine and gross motor coordination while progressing through the pre-primary curriculum.
• Mealtimes include eating independently, drinking from an open cup, and putting dishes away when finished.
• Children gradually move to group schedules, such as eating together, napping at the same time, and sitting together to hear a story.
